Refund & Cancellation Policy – Parties & Events

1. Introduction

This policy applies to all party bookings made with Aston Fencing Academy.

By booking a party with Aston Fencing Academy, the client agrees to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all party bookings.

The deposit confirms the booking date and allows Aston Fencing Academy to reserve coaching time, prepare equipment and secure venues where required.

Deposits are non-refundable, except where Aston Fencing Academy is unable to deliver the event.

3. Remaining Balance

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to the party date.

Failure to pay the remaining balance by this deadline may result in the party booking being cancelled, and the deposit will be forfeited.

4. Client Cancellations

If the client cancels a party after the deposit has been paid, the deposit will not be refunded.

If a party is cancelled within 7 days of the event, the full balance may still be payable due to venue commitments and preparation costs.

5. Venue Availability

Party venues are often operated by third-party venue providers.

If a venue cancels a booking at short notice, Aston Fencing Academy reserves the right to:

• secure an alternative venue
• relocate the event within a reasonable distance
• adjust the event start time where necessary

All reasonable efforts will be made to ensure the event proceeds as planned.

6. Force Majeure

Aston Fencing Academy shall not be liable for cancellations, delays or changes caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to:

• severe weather
• venue closures
• government restrictions
• accidents
• acts of God

Where possible the event may be rescheduled at a mutually agreeable time.
